A Dark and Intense Journey This is not one of those tales where the hero seeks revenge on the heroine, falls in love with her and seeks redemption. Instead, the plot, which is a cracking good read, has elements of a thriller, although it does contain some sweet romance. The main focus of the novel is how a sociopathic man seeks revenge on his wife who leaves him after he subjects her to emotional and physical abuse. In You Will Pay, Arena, a young South African woman, is married to Tom, a richthis book has to be read it was amazing I loved every page, it wasn't what I was expecting it was much better it touched on two very sensitive topics and I think this could make it a difficult read for some but think it could also be quite inspirational.i can not wait to read more by this author as I was so dissappointed when I got to the last page ! If your debating reading this book you should give it a go I doubt you will put it down.
This is what I love about Eve Rabi writings. She doesn't the same old romance boy meet girl, girl falls for boy they live happy ever after. No she writes real world relationships. Not all love is beautiful and safe, it can be ugly, violent and tragic. Eve Rabi you just have a fan for life!
This was the second book I have read and reviewed that was written by Eve Rabi. Let me say that I usually do not review books but because this author and her writing style leaves such an impression on me that I want to spread the word. I read a lot and I mean a lot which is evident in the number of books I purchase off Amazon on to my Kindle every month. So to say that this book deserves a 5 star rating merits notice. This book touches on subjects (spoiler alert?) that are heart wrenching such
Note: This book is about domestic abuse, abuse and contains strong language, violence and sexual violence. Let me tell you that Eve Rabi KNOWS how to do REVENGE!! YOU WILL PAY gives real, gritty details of abuse and revenge and is not for the faint of heart! That being said, again this is a book of Eve Rabi's that I could NOT put down. There was so much strong emotion it was like a physical work out! My heart was racing at the tense moments, and melting at the tender ones. That is the absolute
I can't believe how bad this was. I first thought maybe this was Eve Rabi first book and so I was going to say it was a good effort and maybe an extra star but after a quick look I discover she's written quite a few so I don't understand why this book has been written so badly. This book was written like a shopping list of events, there was no depth to the characters, no drama or suspense, It should have had me on the edge of my seat, I should have been balling my eyes out over poor Sasha but
A solid 4 star readA new author for me, I'm pleased to have found her. This story (was it a story? God it felt real!) had me gripped! Written in the first person it felt like a real account of her horrific life. Ultimately it was a story of survival and nothing beats a strong, determined heroine at any cost. I was completely routing for her! A quick, well written book with unfortunately a shitty cover and title. This book's going to be missed by many readers put off by those two (somewhat)
