Explanation As Books Into the Darkness (Darkness Falls #1)

It was supposed to be a way to end the devastation in the Middle East, but instead a darkness has been unleashed unlike anything the world has ever seen.

Ike Glass is well versed in chaos, but even he is unprepared for what the world will become after the outbreak. Ace Cullen has been loyal to his country ever since he was brought to the United States as a young boy, but it’s difficult to stand by a country that can’t even take responsibility for their own actions. Phoenix Blue just wants a night of mindless sex…is that too much to ask? Always a black sheep, she shocks everyone as she finds the strength inside herself to protect the ones she cares about and fight to see another day. They were strangers when the virus took over, but tragedy will bring them together in ways they never thought possible as they descend into the darkness.

Evaluation Of Books Into the Darkness (Darkness Falls #1)
Now, I'm not one for Zombies. I enjoy The Walking Dead, and that's about it for me. The occasional zombie movie, and I'm set. When I first started reading Into the Darkness by Krista Adams, I could not set this book down. This is seriously one of the best books (and honestly the only book) in this genre that I have read. Krista set the bar high for the zombie genre. We start off with Glass and Cullen in a hard position as being part of the US Military, and understanding what is about to happen

The overall story is interesting and book 2 is going on my 'to read' list, but I thought more information could have been useful at times. There are lots of unanswered questions for me and while I'm sure more will be revealed in future books, I feel like this book could have been a five star book if there weren't so many holes. The story is well planned, with interesting and likeable characters, I'm looking forward to reading book two.Nice delivery and good character voices, I enjoyed listening

This was freaking amazing!!!I read this book in one sitting and absolutely refused to put it down despite the fact that my iPad was on 1% and I still had a chapter to go. Luckily for me, I made it and I couldn't be more agitated. I am not agitated at how the book ended, I am agitated THAT the book ended. Seriously Kira, one of the biggest cliffhangers ever! This book was like a 5th Wave meets The Maze Runner meets The Walking Dead. The characters were all so different but so detailed. I

I'm a big zombie fan! So when I seen this book come across my recommended books on Amazon I was all there! After the first chapter I was hooked! Kira made me gag, cry, scream and begging for more!! I instantly fell in love with Ike and Cullen then later on Phoenix! The way Kira writes her characters they feel like you are a part of them. I could easily put myself in Phoenix's shoes and imagine I was her. That's how real they felt to me! There's gore, romance, sadness and betrayal! Kira Adams

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Here is one of the times that I really wish we could give half stars. I rated it 4 starts but it was really a 3.5. It was a pretty fast paced, decent read, but I've read quite a few books on the zombie apocalypse. With all the zombie movies, shows & books out I'm looking for more of the how it happened, & the character growth. Kira did a pretty good job on the how it happened & the breakdown of the

I really enjoyed Into The Darkness. Right from the very first page you are thrust into the action. It's a fairly fast paced book with a lot happening in the 185 pages and even a few twists along the way. It wasn't bored at all whilst reading. The story is told mainly through Phoenix, however there are also chapters where the narration shifts to Ike or Cullen. This means that you really get a better insight into each of the characters. They are also all fairly likeable.Phoenix (I keep wanting to

3.5 starsI got this free on Amazon for a limited time and I would like to thank the author for making that possible. So here's my honest review... It was fast paced and a page turner. Even though this is another zombie/apocalyptic story, we have characters from different walks of life who banded together to survive. Initially there's Ike from the US government, then Phonix, a random rebellious girl who later finds out she's adopted, Rian, Phoenix's sister, and other characters we meet along the
