Jules Gabriel Verne was a French author who pioneered the genre of science-fiction. He is best known for his novels Journey to the Center of the Earth (1864), Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870), and Around the World in Eighty Days (1873).

Comment On Regarding Books The Children of Captain Grant: A Play in Five Acts
I may be old-fashioned but for me this is what a young adult book looks like. For those who like geography and adventure there is no better book. It will take the reader through the Atlantic, South America, a number of Islands and Australia. This is a brilliant book in the best of Jules Verne's traditions.
