Ilustration Supposing Books Easy Melody (Boudreaux #3)
Callie Mills never intended to return to New Orleans and the life she left behind more than a decade ago. There was no need to open old wounds when she had the life she’d worked hard for in Denver. But when she’s fired from her awesome job in Colorado and her father dies, she has no choice but to return home to run the derelict bar left to her in the heart of the French Quarter. Callie must not only face bad memories but turn The Odyssey into something she can be proud of.And who better to help bring in crowds of people than Declan Boudreaux?
Declan is a sought-after musician who knows he’s good at what he does and loves doing it. Known to pack the house, he also loves women and doesn’t expect to be knocked back a step by the beautiful new owner of The Odyssey. Callie is sharp, gorgeous and funny, and makes him yearn for something he never has before… Commitment.
But when Callie’s able to turn the business around with renovations, making it one of the hottest bars in the Quarter, will she sell out and leave her past behind once and for all, or will Declan be able to convince her that’s she’s where she needed to be all along…in his arms.

Easy Melody is another outstanding addition to Kristens Boudreaux series! Since Easy Love, Ive been itching to get my grabby hands on Declan Boudreaux and Im happy to say he did NOT disappoint. Nor did Callie. I knew going in Dec had his eye on her but Callie gave him a stay away vibe. I was glad to see he wasnt staying away any longer; he set his sights on her and made his move. (On a side note, I think Boudreaux is synonymous with bossy because Declan is Mr. Bossy Pants like his brother, Eli,I think I'm addicted...I can't seem to get enough of the Boudreaux family. Easy Melody was again a very easy story to listen to. Declan has been on my mind for a while and I am not surprised that his love interest was going to be strong, independent and very sexy in an original and quirky way.Easy Melody was very sexy, low on angst and high on family connections. It was very easy to listen to the story and again I think the narrators do a fabulous job. The characters came alive for me and I
My favorite from the series so far.
UPDATEHonestly, I don't even know why I keep reading this series. Ah yeah, only because I want to read Ben and Van's story. Other than that, this one was terrible! The insta-love was just ridiculous. (view spoiler)[They kissed in the first chapter, have sex in the third one and I wasn't even halfway through the book that they already found out they were in love with each other. (hide spoiler)] Seriously? Where's the build up?!---I really though this was going to be Ben and Van's story. Gah!
4.25 stars. This is the sexiest of the Boudreaux brothers yet!! NOLA and a musician count me in!
3 Sweet Stars. After losing her job and boyfriend in the same day, Callie moves back to New Orleans, to take over her late fathers bar. There she meets her brother friend, a musician named Declan and both of them are immediately taken aback with each other. Declan wasnt looking for anything serious. Callie wasnt looking for anything at all. But sometimes the best things are the unexpected ones. This was a sweet and sexy romance book, but in no way my Kristen Proby favorite. It was entertaining
