In this volume we mainly focus on Ketna's mom and da da da..... the disappearance of Kenta's dad. So, we basically get a good idea of what happened to the family.Kenta's Mom is starting to figure out the Kenta and Karin have feelings towards one another but those dang youngsters keep denying it. DANG IT!! Kiss her already!!Not alot of REN in this one or ANJU. They come in from time to time but not a whole lot to comment on.Karin's Mom and Dad learn how Kenta affects Karin and they forbid him toOk, so this volume was slightly better than the previous one I read but still blech. :P The only thing I really "enjoyed" was the family drama w/ Usui Kenta and his poor mother and awful father - I guess those were real people's problems that I could relate to? Karin's character is sweet and likeable but her family is just awful and unlikeable - just reading about them is annoying. And my main problem is that I just can't get behind Karin as a reverse vampire that loses blood instead of taking
So much development happened here. Kenya's dad is creepy and Fumio's mom is a jerk. Poor Karin.

I used to find these books boring, but it's actually pretty funny. What I can't understand is how they both suddenly like each other out of nowhere? They didn't really seem to like like each other, Maaka only turned red around him because of her blood rising but thats about it.
Love the series! Enjoyable characters!
