MIND CONTROLRyousuke Akiba calls himself ES, a code name taken from a mysterious scientific experiment. Ryousuke will live to be at least two centuries old and possesses strange mental powers: He can enter people’s minds, discover their darkest secrets, even rearrange their memories so that complete strangers will treat him like family. Ryousuke acts not out of malice but for survival–wandering Tokyo for reasons known only to him. No one recognizes him for what he is . . . until Dr. Mine Kujyou, a determined researcher, meets someone who challenges everything she knows about science–ES, possessor of the Eternal Sabbath gene. But is he the only one?

What can I say? I'm really into it. The characters are interesting, the pacing is good and the drawings are gorgeous. I've also never seen anything quite like ES's powers before (if you have, let me know: I want to read more like this). I really must pick up the rest of this series.Very interesting story! I loved the manga Mars from the same artist/author and absolutely loved it so I recognize the drawing style which is amazingly beautiful yet simple. Definitely going to continue on with this :)
Worth reading for the gorgeous art alone. This is one of those manga, where you could blow up individual panels to frame and hang.Story mostly good, but I thought events leading up to the ending were too contrived, and ending itself was a little weak.
This will control your mind.
A mysterious person who can manipulate the minds of others seems to wander aimlessly, altering the thoughts and fates of those he encounters arbitrarily. But when he runs into one of the few people who he can't affect, something strange happens - he finds this person interesting...I read Eternal Sabbath as part of a book challenge and didn't know much about it going in. I'm delighted to have found what seems to be a captivating, character driven paranormal story with heavy sci-fi and mystery
Great start to a series Only 8 books long but please be advised the last vol is very expensive so don't get into this series unless your ok with paying an arm and a leg for it.
I liked it well enough, but I didn't love it. The story was interesting, but I am having trouble liking the characters. The main character is a bit of an unfeeling bastard. I also found this manga to be a bit sexist.
