It was very good, nerve racking, but interesting. I like intense and suspenseful books, so it is great for my taste.This was the first Andrea Kane Novel I have read. And I loved it. She kept me interested from the beginning. It is a story about Therapist who works at a private school and also does radio show. She meets and falls for a criminal lawyer in a large firm. She gets assaulted by her cousins date. Her cousin is killed on the same night of the assault. She has a date with the assailant. They go out on his boat and it is blown to bits. Taylor the therapist is in charge of the estate of her cousin. The
This is a well written book with a believable storyline and characters you can relate to! I did not expect the ending at all! That was what I loved most about it!
Taylor Halstead world comes crashing down when she's assaulted in her own home by her cousin's boyfriend. Only her cousin coming home early stops Gordon from raping Taylor. The next day, Taylor's world comes crashing down yet again, when news reaches her that her cousin died in a boat explosion, along with her boyfriend. Great thriller! The plot is basic with some minor twists, but definitely worth the read. I liked Taylor and really liked her romantic lawyer friend Reed. To be honest, this book freaked me out. I kept looking over my shoulder thinking someone was following me. The suspense was great!
